comic con 07 - nerds unite!
comic con this weekend was fun! really exhausting though! i woke up at 5 am friday morning and couldn't go back to sleep... just excited i guess. then my boyfriend picked me up at 8 and we went down to san diego (half an hour away), parked (friggin $10 to park!!), got our badges (pre-registered baby!), walked and got breakfast from a little corner cafe, then went back a little after it had opened at 10 and the line went away. saw lots of neat stuff and got good free stuff. saw my friend caitlin at the FUNimation booth (she does winrey's voice in FMA), and some other people, like the guy who plays goku from DBZ. he was funny, lol..

vader-banana? i don't know.. it was a whole display of these different painted darthvader helmets.
my bf (on the right) with a few of the people from red vs. blue! he also bought the season 4 dvd and got it signed. and we both bought buttons..
and at a different booth i bought the necklaces from nana <3 the lock and key couple ones.. aww :giggle:
right after we went to a local japanese place for lunch/dinner (i swear we aren't otaku lol) and then had to rush over to a beach birthday party before traffic got bad (which it did) especially since we got a little lost getting out of the city area.. lame. and then the next day i had to go to a wedding up in LA.. i was soo tired >< from walking for 6 hours at the con.. ahh!
then sunday was fun. went to a different japanese place for lunch (lol) then played the wii (that big brain academy one where you actually have to think!) at a friend's house for several hours and then baked cookies and watched nacho libre.. nothing like some mindless american humor after you've fried your brain on japanese thinking games >< ugh. lol... only the japanese would make a game of school! jeez. :ohnoes:
